PRE-OLYMPIC SPIRIT:

The London Olympics open this Friday, and we will be showing all the contests that matter in rather less than HD on our 240 square foot media wall. Yes your tweets and our story will be relegated to commercial time for the next couple of weeks. To celebrate or perhaps just leverage the Olympic moment, and remind you all that the five Olympic rings represent the five continents involved in the Olympics (a logo that may have been inspired by Swiss psychiatrist Carl Jung, for whom rings symbolize continuity and the human being; or perhaps more likely a magazine ad for Dunlop tires magazine depicting five bicycle tires, which appeared the same time the Olympic flag was designed in 1912!), our intrepid and inspired product team has invented 5 Olympian (W)holeburgers:
Africa:                                   Lamb-Spicy Collards-Chipotle Pepper Sauce-Lettuce-Tomato-Pickle-Onion-  Pumpernickel
Americas:                            Beef-Mac & Cheese-Pancetta-Cheddar- Mayonaisse-Mustard-Ketchup Lettuce-Tomato-Pickle-Onion-Brioche
Asia:                                        Salmon-Avocado Chili Mango-Kim Chi-Teriyaki Sauce-Sweet Chili Sauce-Pressed Rice
Europe:                                 Pork-Artichoke Hearts-Caramelized Apple-Manchego-Garlic Mayonaisse-Mustard-Multigrain
Oceania:                               Turkey-Mushroom & Onions-Fried Egg-Fontina- Horse Radish Cream-Lettuce-Tomato-Pickle-Onion-Brioche

ON THE CHART/CHARTBEAT: welcome back roDgerS!
Angela1126’S Multigrain-Veggie-Spinach & Garlic-Avocado-Lettuce-Tomato-Barbeque-Hummus Angela’s Veggie 2 tops the chart for the 4th week in a succession, from JANINEDM’S rising Burger De La Hoya and JFAVUZZA’S falling Better Turkey Burger, which are tied in sales and revenues at #2. PADROTE’S    Multigrain-Turkey-Baked Beans-Avocado-Cheddar-Lettuce-Pickle-Tomato-Barbeque-Remoulade Summer BBQ Burger is a new entry at #4: it is the first ever baked-bean scoop BuildBoard chart hit. PADROTE is otherwise known as the creator of The Dark Knight, a 303 unit selling hit from gentler times. AHARRIS’S all-time best-selling CaliBurger slumps another place to #5 on stagnant sales, finishing a couple of ticks ahead of MSHEPPARD’S hard-charging, super-heavyweight, patriotic red white and bleu - this week’s greatest gainer on the back of a 50% increase in sales. And because the debate in respect to the right to bear arms has gotten so distorted that cretins like Sen. Ron Johnson (R-Wis.) are asserting (even in the aftermath of the Dark Knight Rises massacre) that it should extend to the right to buy high-capacity clips and magazines, we have decided to donate 50 cents (25 cents from 4food and 25 cents from MSHEPPARD) in respect of every sale of red white and bleu to http://www.bradycampaign.org  for the rest of this year. Should you wish to contribute your burger bounty to the campaign for gun control, tweet your user name @4foodnyc and we will match your contribution. RODGERSMG visited the store last week, and just like that his platinum certified MGR Lamb Burger rebounded into the chart, tied in sales with MSHEPPARD’S better blues burger at #7, but a little ahead in revenues. JHATCH, a prolific burger-builder, adds the Multigrain-Beef-Mac & Cheese-Pancetta Bacon-Bleu Cheese-Onion-Barbeque Greg to his tally of first-name hits. It is tied at #9 with his own creation, Brett, and NEWMANRA’S own Cali4nication.
