As the unofficial end to summer draws near, 4food Chef Vincent Mangual is busy planning for the gastronomic splendiferous that is Fall in New York City. Prepare to wave good-bye to the fresh corn and okra Succotash, BBQ Baked Beans, and Mrs. A's Potato Salad - all of which will make their final appearance on the menu Friday August 31st. Ushering you into Autumn will be the return of Chef Vinny's Eggplant Parmesan - pencil thin roasted eggplant filets layered with fresh tomatoes and housemade mozzarella kneaded with the Chef's own hands. Also making a comeback is everyone's favorite Scotch Bonnet snack in the mouth Jerk Sauce. Look for a Veggie Chili resurrection mid-way through September, and new items such as Pretzel Buns, Pumpkin Hash, and Loaded Baked Potato in the coming months.
