ON THE CHART/CHARTBEAT: Angela CLEANS UP
It wasn’t even close! Just one week after replacing her out-of-stock mega-hit, Angela’s Veggie, with not one but two new builds, Angela1126’S Multigrain-Veggie-Spinach & Garlic-Avocado-Lettuce-Tomato-Barbeque-Hummus Angela’s Veggie 2  defies all previous understanding of chart momentum and takes the #1 spot in its second week of release, on the back of a 130% increase in sales. To add a little insult to the injury done to all other contenders, the Adele of the BuildBoard Chart’s other hit, the Multigrain-Veggie-Roasted Brussels-Cheddar-Lettuce-Tomato-Garlic Mayonnaise-Mustard Angela’s Veggie 3, skips up one place to #8. In two weeks, riding the “Princess of De-Junking” coattails has almost quadrupled Veggie’s share to 32.9% of total chart sales, taking a 12 point bite out of beef.  In fact Angela1126 was responsible for 1 out of 3 sales of Chart builds - now that’s a ‘nice little earner.’ A little lost in Angela1126’S shuffle is the fantastic story of BREADSTICK’S bid for Turkey domination. A new entry last week, this week BREADSTICK’S 310-calorie Samurai Turkey Burger rises two places to #3, where it is tied on sales with JFAVUZZA’S Better Turkey Burger - though it falls a few dollars short when the Gross Revenue tiebreaker is factored in. However, taking a page out of Angela1126’S book, this week BREADSTICK launched another runner, and the almost equally lean, 335-calorie Multigrain-Turkey-Avocado & Chili Mango-Sweet Plantains-Lettuce-Onion-Sweet Chili Jive Turkey leaps into this week’s chart at #5. The math is startling, BREADSTICK’S Jive Turkey and Samurai Turkey Burger builds are responsible for 19% of total sales of the BuildBoard Top 10 and Angela1126’S two runners are responsible for another 33% - meaning that in a matter of two weeks these two 4foodies have taken the opportunity of the disruption caused by the ‘retirement’ of Angela’s Veggie and the fade of Cali4nication and #winning burger to capture over 50% of total sales of the BuildBoard Top 10.
